Musings on Life and Food

Unfortunately, I don't necessarily have a life plan. Or a dinner plan for that matter. Luckily for me, things work out most of the time.

I'll be posting some musings on food, eating, and life in general. Hopefully, some of it's interesting.

I'm not a recipe guy, at least not in the cookbook kind of way. I'm more of a "season to taste" or "add enough olive oil" kind of guy, so anything I post is a rough approximation. It may be too much or too little. I suggest tasting along the way. Kind of like life.

What To Do with a Six-Legged Turkey: Smoked Turkey Legs

I'm not a huge football fan, at least not since Jerry Jones became the owner of the Cowboys. Perhaps it's better to say that I'm not a big Cowboys fan, but let's face it, if you're not a Cowboys fan, you can't really enjoy football. Even so, at leas (read full article)

My Dinner With Nana

For our anniversary, Jenn and I ate at Nana in Dallas. I'm glad we did: the chef was very experimental, and we had a lot of flavors we wouldn't normally have tried. I don't think I'll ever go back.A problem that a lot of chefs have is that they focu (read full article)
