Musings on Life and Food
Unfortunately, I don't necessarily have a life plan. Or a dinner plan for that matter. Luckily for me, things work out most of the time.
I'll be posting some musings on food, eating, and life in general. Hopefully, some of it's interesting.
I'm not a recipe guy, at least not in the cookbook kind of way. I'm more of a "season to taste" or "add enough olive oil" kind of guy, so anything I post is a rough approximation. It may be too much or too little. I suggest tasting along the way. Kind of like life.
Two of our best friends, JD and Susan, have a J122 that they keep on Lake Texoma. For about half the year, we race. The other half, JD and Susan are happy to have us up for a night or a weekend.The only cost of admission is (i) food and (ii) drink. (read full article)
The first time I had sangria was on a beach in France when I was 15. Fruity, fortified wine, topless women, sand, the Mediterranian sea...what's not to love about that? I've been a fan of sangria ever since.If you've had sangria bought in the store. (read full article)
