Ubiquitous Food Cravings

http://ubiquitouscravings.wordpress.com/

If there’s one thing to know about me as a foodie, it’s that my body is constantly craving some sort of food, all the time, anytime and not only one but multiple cravings at one moment. Sadly as a cheap student stuck in Kingston, my options are very limited. I never forget a craving and don’t stop searching for a way to satisfy my hunger until I get the food that I want. The blog is dedicated to my food adventures as I try to explore food combinations, develop my cooking skills, review restaurants, try new products and write about it all.

Pickle Barrel Restaurant – Markville Review

I seldom visit the Pickle Barrel restaurant, not because a lack of decent food or a dislike with the atmosphere but simply because it never springs as a go-to option when hunger strikes. I’ve gone a total of 3 or 4 times in the past, mostly to (read full article)

Rainforest Cafe at Yorkdale Restaurant Review

Lotus Hearts Blossom Restaurant Review

I’ve noticed in the last little while that my home cooking strays more towards the vegetarian region and my restaurant/takeout meals lean more towards more  meaty dishes. So I wanted to switch things up and try the vegetarian fare at Lotus Hea (read full article)

Tilapia with Sauteed Vegetables in an Orange Sauce

In my freezer I often keep frozen filets of fish, typically tilapia, haddock and/or cod. I also normally forget that it’s in there until my fridge is basically bare. This was no exception. At the time, I had just moved into my apartment and my (read full article)

Yaki-Udon

Udon noodles are one of my favourite types of noodles. They’re starchy and filling. They’re also the one noodle that I’ll willing eat with soup as I’m not a big fan of soup and noodles. But Udon in a warm miso based soup is s (read full article)

Sakura Review

Kingston has a large amount of Japanese restaurants but unfortunately all of their authenticity comes into question as most are under managed by Koreans or Chinese. It’s apparent when you look at their menus and realize that there’s a (read full article)
