Wesley and I are planning to be here. He will be in and out as there is day light still and frogs and such to catch lol-
No I dont eat frog legs. But hubby and his family does. He got my daughter eating them and all. I cant because I think of Kermit the Frog. And the frogs he catches here are small. They have to be big and they are on the creek. Right now there are snakes on that same creek so I wont let him go lol.

Theresa, is there a special prize for being the Ten Thousandth Member? Are there consolation prizes for Nos. 9,999 and 10,001? -

I want pics of that kitchen. I need Ideas. I get to redo mine soon. It is huge and I have very little ideas because I have only had a small kitchen until now. Hubby built me some cabinets and I have a stove, dishwasher and fridge. I have to redo the floors too as the tile is breaking at the door way due to settling. It is an 1850's farm house they added on to until about the 1950s.

What are the plans for Memorial Day? I think we are going to the creek or river to relax and grill out.-
Visiting all of the family here in our area. I am kicking up my feet for a long weekend and making side dishes, as my brother-in-law and his son plan to use the gigantic grill.
I suppose I will make kebabs of vegetables, seafood, seafood and veggies and fish, too. They're easy to put together and I am planning on writing about them.
I do have a tip. Whenever using wooden skewers soak them in water for about an hour before loading them with food. Also spray them with Pam so the food will slide off easily.

Not any more. I saw alot of them on the way to Orlando last year. I was thinking about doing a blog post on the resturants but I did not take pictures of the food.
I love refrigerator pickles. I also love Cinnamon pickles util they leak in the fridge. You need a chisle to get the liquid up. lol My mother in law makes them. They take two to three days just to get them in a jar.

We have had the hives swarm 4 times that we know of. We are not the only bee keepers with this problem. There was a guy with 170 swarms out of his 700 hives. Right now we have two hives with 60 lb boxes of honey on top of them waiting for it to be capped. That is 120 lbs of honey if we get to harvest it. We have 5 hives right now and are planning on splitting some of them to make more after July. There are 60,000 bees in one hive on the average. We have alot of bees out there.

Hope they're all friendly ? Like the cartoons. Did Wesley like that movie? I know I did.
Public TV on our local area is playing 3:30 PM Mon - Fri EST. Lark Rise To Candleford. A BBC series set in the late 1880s or early 1890s. I love this show. Anyway there is a man and wife who have bees. She is always talking to them. I think of you when I see her playing with her bees.

I talk to the bees to. People say they are not smart. When they are out of sugar syrup they find me or Bekka out in the yard and buzz our heads. Just be careful around them if you use sented shampoo. They love cherry blossom, strawberry and peach. The only time I have been stung is when I had my hair down and was taking pics when hubby was working them. (I dont wear the veil or suit) One got stuck in my hair. She gave me a migrane but I got over it.
