Appetizers?

One of my favorite things about get-togethers is appetizers. In fact, I'd many times rather have just apps than full meals.

What are favorites you have? We like crab rangoon, spinach dip, egg rolls and dumplings here.

I love appetizers and sometimes when we go out I order them instead of an entree! I love most any kind of dip....hot or cold. I also love an appetizer my mom always made...little cocktail weiners. I make them for my family and my kids say it's not Christmas without them! They are called sweet-n-sour lil' smokies..recipe is here on HHM www.halfhourmeals.com/recipe/sweet-n-sour-smokies

I make ham delights, hot dogs wrapped in bacon and then ketchup and grape jelly sauce over them, cheese balls, mini pizzas, rotel cheese dip with homemade tortilla chips. We had an appitizer dinner at my moms for halloween and had so much fun.

Egg rolls are an appetizer? I thought they were a main dish...

Bloomin onion, and cheese sticks.

Bruchetta with marinara sauce and fresh mozzarella slice.
TGIFriday's Fried green beans with wasabi sauce for dipping.
Baked mushrooms stuffed with crabmeat and topped with provolone cheese.
Jumbo shrimp cocktail with spicy cocktail sauce.
Mini quiches.
Brioche a tet.

I can make a meal of appetizers. I usually like the serve quite a few things such as cheese, grilled Portuguese chourizo, stuffed crab and blue cheese jalapeño peppers wrapped in bacon, shrimp pastries (Rissois de camarao), shrimps fried in garlic and spicy sauce, pipis (VERY soft gizzards in spicy sauce)

This is a good category. Food before dinner. Tasty delights to prepare one for the big meal. I do love the appetizers.

for me anything with cheese goes! i love canapes, asparagus rolls, and quiche
