I would say to click Rebecca's name and leave her a shout box message. She is a dietician. I also interview a member who practices in Manhattan. she is a Doctor and a Dietician, so perhaps both of them can help.
Here are both interviews and by clicking their links within the posts you will be at their profile pages.

Ok my question is slightly different, I'm actually majoring in dietetics, I just got my AA and I'm planning to transfer to a university in a few months. Lately I've been considering changing my major to health service administration with nutrition minor. It's in the same department and nutrition is actually recommended as a minor for health service administration. I was wondering if I can work in a nutrition field if I will only have minor in that subject or would it rather be hard for me to get e job in nutrition?
What would you recommend? I love nutrition and I see my future in that field but don't want to major in dietetics because of internship, my area doesn't offer internships and I am not willing to leave for a year or two.

Hi Theresa try lentils, and beans more, black beans taste great, heres a recipe http://www.chowandchatter.com/2009/03/quick-and-easy-black-beans.html
also if you look on my blog Indian's have wonderful ways of cooking dal, and dried beans so you can fill up on healthy protein and fiber rich foods. Also you can buy veggie sausages etc at whole foods. A grain very high in protein is quinoa

Hi Amy I think a bowl of oatmeal or a slice of whole grain toast with peanut butter would be good as more slowly broken down to get you through the night and healthy. It would be a great idea to see a local dietitian where you live and get tailor made advice see http://eatright.org to locate one Rebecca
