Do you have a favorite copy cat recipe? I have several that I have collected and I have a few favorites here is one.
Old Bay Seasoning
1 Tbsp. Celery Seed
1 Tbsp Whole Black Peppercorns
6 Bay Leaves
1/2 tsp. Whole Cardamom
1/2 tsp. Mustard Seed
4 Whole Cloves
1 tsp. Sweet Hungarian Paprika
1/4 tsp. Mace
Dash of Salt
In a spice grinder or small food processor, combine all of the ingredients.
Grind well and store in a small glass jar.

I subscribe to a great newsletter at recipesecrets.net. Ron has lots of copycat recipes and even has a cookbook...pretty good stuff!

you use it in boiling shrimp and crab legs. Cooking asshols uses it a lot of diffrent ways. I use it to make seafood with. I have even put it in a soup (in a cloth bag that I fish out in the end)

I use it for my BBQ Shrimp - Marty likes chips with it. Good stuff.

Oh, so it's a menagerie of blended spices you use a little here and a little there. Very good and I think I can mix up a small portion to keep in dry pantry. Thanks!

Do you sell batches of it? Or, do you mean you have a variety of spice and herb combinations?

Oh. I have old bay seasoning in the cupboard. Been using it forever. I thought it was a part of the recipe. I see now it is the title of your recipe. If I hadn't asked then I would have had a double helping or strength of it. Ha. It's a good thing we can ask questions right here in discussions.
