That's where I'm going to end up when my time comes ... or is it ends? Either way I will be most happy to cook for GOD.

I love to think of Him as very approachable, fun, He gave us a sense of humor, so He should also have one and be a really good cook. I mean He invented everything kind of food, and there have got to be some major combinations we have overlooked.

So God, if You are watching please consider this ... we can have such good times cooking and talking and sitting down to dine.

My question is this:

Given the opportunity what would you cook for God and what would you talk about over your meal together?

Disclaimer: I love God with all my heart. He's the one that gave me my playful personality.

Dear Theresa, I do not know exactly what I would make for God but I think it might be very simple. I think perhaps some really good flat bread with olives, of course some tasty olive oil to dip in and also some smoked fish. I think that would be wonderful to sit over a very simple meal and chat about everything that comes to mind. I would have fresh fruits and roasted vegetables. All of these would be charred beautifuly and we would be able to dip in the oil and eat the fish that has been simply made over the fire. I think the simplicity of the meal would only make the overall atmosphere much more compatible to the conversation. Yes, He is the King but He is our very best friend and I know that whatever I make will be pleasing and that He knew I just wanted to be with Him and sit and yes stare in awe and just be so happy that we were together.

First I would buy a beautiful table cloth ... I don't have any and I keep meaning to get one for my rectangular dining room table, but haven't.
Second I would buy some neat looking dishes with a rich blend of turquoise's, that will make a complimentary background to present my food selections.
Thirdly I could arrange fresh bouquets, of an array of flowers, to let Him know it is a celebration in His honor.
Fourth I would carefully choose a variety of fruits, vegetables, cheeses, herbs and spices, to help flavor the meal.

I know what I would ask. I would ask where He was taking us. We are on a living breathing planet and we are traveling through space. I would see if He would explain where we're headed and what was going to happen when we arrived. Then I would serve Him some food.
