Does anyone know why today is National Chocolate Cake Day?

Not that I mind, I am actually going through recipes in here to make a chocolate cake tonight!

I did not know that today is "National Chocolate Cake Day" but ....why not? I think I will celebrate with a chocolate cake!

ok, I decided on Pierre's cake. I will have to substitute the kailhua liquor with Port wine as I do not any any at home and of course being Portuguese I HAVE to have Port wine at home! Cannot wait to get home!

I printed out his recipe too but will use dark rum since I never got by the liquor store. I did bake brownies last night around 11 PM.

ok, I did it and came out amazing. Next time though I will use the Kahlua am sure it will make a difference. Taking the rest to work tomorrow, do not need that many more calories on me. Enjoyed making it though. You can check it out in my blog!
