What is your favorite pineappe upside down cake recipe? I made Alton Browns tonight with corn meal and used a cast iron skillet. I was impressed with it. Do you have one that you just cant live with out. t is my hubby's favorite cake.

Pineapple Upside-down Cake was my favorite until I became allergic to this fruit. I sure miss eating this dessert. Have some for me, won't you?

Theresa111 I maked one with peaches and it turned out great. You dont have to use pineapple. Apple would be good too.

I have used them all. If you do the fresh put them in a little sugar and lst them set for a little in the fridge. I like fresh fruit best but some times the canned is better if they are not in season.

  It has been over a decade since I have bitten into a good peach. Sad. My Papa (Granddad) used to call me Peaches.

On the blog is a lot of peach trees that are in my compost pile. in the next year or two I will have so many peachs I will not know what to do with them all. We are replanting them when they are ready. I think there are atleast 10 trees there. I love them straight off the tree. In Clanton Alabama they have a huge peach crop. They have a water tower that is in the shape of a peach.

  We have one peach tree that produces so many I have to give them away. When they are ready I will send you some!
