What\'s your biggest food pet peeve? Mine is those horrid little stickers they seem to put on almost every piece of produce these days. What could be more unnatural than a sticker on a beautiful little apricot??

people at resturants getting your order wrong. I do not eat out that often but it upsets me that they can not get something right when you order it a certain way. I got a salad the other night and got it home she left of the onions and mushrooms. Other than that it ws good but a let down when you wanted certain things on it.

Over garnished restaurant meals, especially the old 'lettuce & slice of tomato' garnish .... that's so '70's ... ewwwwww

Mine has to be searching, sometimes endlessly, for the expiration date. It is too frustrating.

Mines is having fruits and vegetables being branded like they are Gucci or Prada. It's just getting ridiculous with the prices here in Japan. Sob sob...

you're very fortunate. For the most part in the US fruit looks delicious and is tasteless.

If The Department of Agriculture would stop fooling around with the genetics of our food perhaps there would still be flavorful fruit. A la natural is beautiful on food that is grown. Now that I think about it, the animals are not treated respectfully and I certainly pray they would be.

When the plastic pull tabs on orange juice containers break! It does not happen often, but when it does it is annoying.

Right now (and luckily it's a fad on the way out) I can't tolerate 'food foam' - looks like someone spit on your meal for good luck before it passed through the swinging doors to your table.

Ugh! Food foam has to be the most unappealing trendy food presentation, even though it is an experimental use of a food, I simple do not want to taste it ... ever.

Lol...there should be! Was in a restaurant in PA over the 4th of July weekend and their garlic mashed potatoes were clearly instant...ruined the whole meal for me!

Even if the restaurant didn't want to peel them, they could cook new potatoes and then mash them. Not smooth but much better than instant.

I hate how hard it is to open a jar. It's a big job for a 4 Ft 11 in petite women like me:( Good thing my husbands comes in for the rescue.

Try this first: Running hot water on the lid or top in order to expand the molecules. Gently rap or tap the top on the counter to, once again, expand the molecules. Use one of those Rubbermaid rubber lid removers. You place it over the top and your hand on top of it. Twisting and turning is usually successful. If it does not work, cal the husband in to rescue you.

Thank you Theresa for the tip. I'll definitely try it and hope I can get it to work for me:)
