I'm wearing light turquoise pedal-pushers and a navy T-Shirt from BrooWaha.

I think blues remind me of the ocean and the beaches in the summertime.

Blue is a very relaxing color. It reminds me of the Mediterranean.

Have you ever visited and seen it close up? London is as Far East as I have travelled, but in my heart, I have visited Europe and the Mediterranean. As soon as I win the lotto I will travel all over and eat lots of cuisines.

She must love having you as her Sous Chef. And giving Mum a night off is like a mini-vacation.

I learned from my mom (of course!). I've learned to like a lot of different flavors like cumin and curry. I personally however enjoy making wet rubs instead.

Well, I call it a wet rub. I mix together ketchup, honey, soy sauce, teriyaki sauce and lots of other 'wet' ingredients.

So the difference is not it being marinated, but the saucing ingredients are added just prior to grilling or broiling or roasting? Yes?

I noticed you and your brother were writing together. Sounds pretty cool for siblings to do this. How did this come about? Does he ever help you bake cookies?

My brother started writing at a young age, like me. And as his little sister, I followed in his footsteps. My mother suggested we start a writing blog since we both write.
Mike helps in the kitchen when I ask him to, but no...he doesn't do a lot a cooking. He helps with my mom's youtube videos!

Here is our new goat. Her name is Pumpkin. She has just given birth less than a week ago so she looks skinny but she will gain it all back in no time. She is eating really well here. She gives about a pint 2 times a day of goat milk.

Hi Pumpkin. She must have had a hard time with the birth since she didn't want to nurse the baby goat (or so you told me). Poor thing. Becoming a mother gat must hurt! Glad she will mow that lawn for you. I found out that we had many farmers in my family. Great Grandparents etc.
