Hi Everyone! It's Friday and it got me thinking... are there any traditions you have for Friday Nights? My In-laws always have a Fish fry (although my Father-in-law's wife used to have Pizza every Friday Night with her family in the past) ... We usually do something simple like popcorn and a movie... Back home in Mexico I used to have "Street Tacos" every Friday night... how about you? anything that you consider a tradition for Friday Night in your family? Or at least something "very common" to do on a Friday night?

Pizza night is always a classic Friday tradition in this household. We sometimes make our own using dough from scratch but will order in from the local Pizzaville on busy weeks where we feel we need a night of from cooking. Taco night is definitely a tradition I think I could get used to! We've done tacos during the week some nights but never on a consistent basis. I think this is something I'll have to start planning more often!

Have you had authentic Mexican tacos? I don't think I'd ever get used to hard shell tacos but real Mexican tacos are just awesome! And talking about pizza I just made pizza from scratch (and for the first time) yesterday and IT WAS SOOO GOOD... Who knows! It might become a tradition here!

Friday tradition all summer for us has been barbecue. Unfortunately, we're in Canada so that will soon cease to be possible without freezing to death while cooking.

Friday in the winter is always a good time for either pizza or take-out sushi on this end.

In our family friday night is family nite. So we either play board games, or watch a family movie. My daughter has named Friday nites "Italian" nite, so its usually homemade pizza, or pasta of some sort like lazagna, seafood fettuccini, or ziti.
