I got a big surprise when I got home yesterday! It seems a recipe I submitted to Taste of Home some time back (not sure how long ago) made it into their 2009 Christmas recipe book! I will post pictures on my blog (and recipe too if it's not copyright infringement...Anne...do you know?).

Congratulations! That is definitely good news. -

Congrats, Penny! Unless you assigned your copyright to them when you submitted the recipe (doubtful since they are making $$ on it and you aren't so the tradeoff is usually you get to keep the copyright) - then the recipe belongs to you. Much like posting a recipe here on HHM... you just give them permission to reproduce but you retain the copyright.
Don't you just love cooks who moonlight managing their husband's music? LOL -
Thanks for the support and warm wishes everyone! Hope that someday in the not-too-distant future we will be celebrating a published cookbook from one of us!-
Penny,
I will root for anyone who accepts the creative side of the cookbook. I only wish to browse through them. Today I am going through Martha Stewarts' Cupcakes. Haven't had the chance before this.
Annie,
It is so cool that you write for Disney. Can you share how you got this fine opportunity? I love a good story.
