The weather is changing and late tomorrow night, old man winter goes to sleep, and yields to the freshness of spring.
TIme to clean out the cupboards and check the expiration dates on boxes, cans and containers.
Reorganization is in order and it allows us to take measure (no pun intended) of the varieties of foods we already have. Then it is an easy matter to key in some ingredients into the search engines, and see which recipes come up.
Please share with us what you intend to do to get your kitchen into springtime working order.

I am so excited for spring!!! Although, it seems like spring came a bit earlier than usual. Here in NY we had a beautiful past weekend. I got to do some yard work, while my mom polished the inside. There is still a lot left to do...one thing I intend to do is break out the juicer, smoothie maker, and bbq!!! Oh joy! I adore warm weather cooking!

Oh dear. I would have to live in a cave to keep out the heat you all must get in the summertime. Wow! Today, after Joe leaves for work, I am clearing out the pantry, taking stock of what there is and putting it back into the orderly fashion it deserves. After we were invaded by ants last year, I tore the pantry up, put almost everything into plastic zippered bags and never undid it. You know ... I'll get him to spray the outside for ants, before he leaves, otherwise, I might have a repeat of last year. I'll do it the smart way. Spray first, then reorganize.

Spring does not want to come to WI, but I already started the Spring clean. Started from bedrooms and making my way down. Kitchen ALMOST done, even though it is a clean up in one side and mess in the other due the the seeds germinating! LOVE the idea of organizing everything from the pantry in plastic containers! Are they BPA free? -
Tomorrow afternoon is designated to reorganize, clear out or de-clutter the kitchen. Apparently, I have my pots and pans I bought when I was a young woman. I cannot seem to let go of them. The new set of pans don't perform the way my old ones do. I'm thinking of returning to the ones I depended upon for years, and giving away the shiny expensive ones. Plus, what is it with all of those containers I keep collecting? This is it! Tomorrow I take back my kitchen
