crack each end of the egg;peel off a bit of shell; put one end to your mouth and blow. The shell slips off perfectly every time.

Just make sure they are not fresh. I have chickens and when ou boil a fresh egg they stick and nothing helps I have tried everyting. The eggs you get in the store are atleast 2 weeks old before you get them if not older. If you have fresh eggs set them on the counter at room temp for a few days and they will eel better.

ICE WATER after they are done cooking. The cold will cause the egg to pull away from the shell and they 'should' be easier to shell then. Also, fresh eggs really do come out of the shell easier.

I also do what SugarPies does and it helps for really stuck shells.

How do you peel them? If you're trying to pick off the shell or "crack" it you'll find there's not much of a solution.

Instead, place the egg on the counter and roll it under the palm of your hand until the shell separates from the egg. Then it will just come right off.

I have the best luck sticking the eggs with a push-pin on the fat end.

I think I read that in a Martha Stewart magazine once.

It is a pain, that's for sure. Everyone has theories. Fresh eggs, older eggs, shorter cooking, longer cooking.

I would love to know what others do that help too!

Do you have any tips? I tried adding salt, vinegar, running cold water over them.

Nothing is working.
