In just two weeks we will be celebrating another Labor Day and the long weekend (marking the official end of summer in the USA), sending the kiddies back to school, some to kindergarten, and older children off to college, many for their first year.

Millions of people visit beaches and take last-minute mini-vacations before the weather changes for much cooler temperatures.

What do you have planned for this landmark weekend? And do you continue the tradition of putting away your white clothing until springtime next year? Do you follow a family tradition with regard to the foods you cook and eat, or are you open to new and fresh ideas?

Please take a few minutes and share with us what you plan to do. Who knows you might give another member something new to try.

Dear Theresa, I will be going to a birthday party for my little nephew. He will be four! The family has been using his birthday as a Labor Day party as well. It should be a nice day.

Four is a very good age for a birthday party. I hope you have a good time. What will you and Tammy be cooking or baking?
