We just celebrated Mardi Gras tonight - Jambalaya and King Cake. My son got the baby! It was fun. I would love to know what other people do to celebrate Mardi Gras!

Not really - but I make Cajun food often, two of our favorites being Jambalaya and Gumbo - good stuff!

Gumbo sounds good. I may have to do that next year. Enjoy!

Just did it for Super Bowl. Usually for today's day I make a typical Brazilian dish (every year is something different) but am too tired, so tonight is plain broiled chicken with a lemon inside it!

No, I have never had the opportunuity to celebrate this event. I always wonder about how much fun everyone has when I see footage in movies and on the news.

Pancakes tonight and Ash Wednesday tomorrow, the beginning of Lent.
