Every person I have ever known has always raved about a good breakfast that they have cooked and eaten, or been served at either a hotel, a restaurant or an informal brunch in someone's home.
Since there is such a vast array of foods served for this important meal, I wonder what combination you like the most. Please provide a list of three combinations of your favorite breakfasts.

eggs benedict!
eggs and deer sausages
Portuguese torradas (it is like a normal toast, but there is something about that bread, not sure how to explain it), coffee and good honey -
Pancake (or waffles) and bacon and bacon. Preferably a maple cured or sugar cured bacon that is thick sliced.

Bacon, Bacon, and Crepes.
Beignets and Cafe au Lait but only in New Orleans.
When I was a kid I loved buttered yellow grits for breakfast, but not so much anymore. My Saturday morning favorite breakfast as a kid was Fruit Loops right out of the box while watching Scooby Doo.
As for the Nueske bacon - Oh my! I used to love market bacon from a little butcher shop near where I lived in SC in the early 90's. -
If "breakfast" grits aren't your thing, try a classic lunch or dinner recipe from the SC low country - Shrimp and Grits. The main thing to remember is to ALWAYS use yellow grits. I'm not even sure why they bother making white grits. They're horrible and tasteless. Seasoning is key... lots of butter, a little salt, a little pepper and if you like cheese then top them with cheese and let it melt into the grits. -
Talking about grits. I came to find out there are grits and grits. Never liked them until when living in NC a friend begged me to try them again. She took me to a small coffee shop not far from where we lived and sure enough, she was right. WOW... So from my own personal experience it is ALL about how they are made.

Today, it's sausage links, fried eggs over easy, and slices of vine ripened beefsteak tomatoes. I will chase it with a glass of ice cold milk. -
Favorite go-to breakfast:
Toast with avocado spread on it, a couple slices of bacon and some sliced tomato (I hate eggs).
Favorite breakfast:
Soda biscuits (almost flat--none of that fluffy stuff) with hot sausage and gravy.
Most "fancy" I've ever made:

How's that new kitchen of yours doing? I don't know who to envy more, You, Greg or Catherine. I don't know what every one else's is like. Mine is a galley-type and the cupboard/pantry is cramped and deep enough to fall into if you're not careful. It's how many of my foods go missing because it's also dark inside.
