What's your very favorite one pot meal? I adore soup (obviously) but chili is right up there. I also make a zucchini and ground beef casserole that I love (hubby says casserole is a 4-letter word) and the kids think is pretty good, too.

Now that I've mentioned it - make sure to add your own one pot wonders to the site!

Soup and chili rank right up there! I also like casseroles with pasta...will post my Penne Pasta recipe. Even though you have to cook the pasta in advance (thus technically dirtying another pot) it all gets baked in one casserole so I guess that counts right?

Beef Stroganoff. My middle sister, Mary make this so well. She is a home cook and I think this is her finest attempt because I could almost lick the plate. she prepares it in the crock pot. I just asked her for the recipe via voicemail. When she shares it I will post it under my recipe tab. I shall honor her by letting her be first.

Annie, do you have a very favorite soup? I am going to be eating a lot of soup over the next week. DO you have a chicken one with dumplings, big fat dumplings?

  My favorite is Italian Wedding Soup! I rarely make dumplings. I love them, but everyone else here isn't too fond. I grew up eating them in potato soup and everything else.

  Do I have to wear my wedding veil when I prepare this dish? Ha. Need recipe please and one for dumplings. Try as I have I cannot find one like Mama, my Gmthr made. Do you have dumpling one you cherish? I just mentioned I lost most of ancient ancestral photos and her cookbooks except a few, in another discussion. I cannot ask her for them, as she is very far away. I wonder if there are kitchens in the hereafter. Be a huge disappointment to me if there aren't any.
