Hello all, A while back I had asked about any or all of our participation in our corporate blog with romantic recipes. Our blog is finally up and running and the idea would be to post a recipe every Wednesday. Of course we would give you all of the credit and link it to your site. If interested feel free to contact me sofiar(at)gemex.com
Thank you again,
Sofia

Wow... I would have expected at least one answer? So no one interested in helping out?

I have my finger in a lot of cake batter right now, but perhaps I can do it once month?

Theresa, thanks for your reply. That would be fantastic.

Pierre shared his chocolate cake which I loved to make for this week. I would love to be able to do it as a Wednesday night feature as this give people a chance to buy ingredients on Thursday and Friday, then surprise their significant other during the weekend!

You can check Pierre's at: gemexsystems.blogspot.com/

Also we have a diamond earring contest for anyone who is interested!

Thank you very much Theresa! If you have one that you believe is "romantic" on your blog, just send me the link and I can just copy paste. Also a little intro on yourself would be even better!

Sofia....I apologize! I meant to reply to this and it kept slipping my mind! Like Theresa, I have a lot of commitments, but I would be happy to help with an article every month. What do you need and when do you need it? Also, I was wondering if you would be interested in doing a guest post for my blog like Catherine did. Maybe a Brazilian soup recipe? That would be really great!

WOW Penny! in terms of our blog, anything goes as long as it is romantic, much as I just replied to Theresa, a little intro on yourself then a link to a recipe you already published, or then you can just email me the recipe with a photo. Up to you.

I would be ABSOLUTELY delighted to do a guest post! I do not know much about Brazilian soups, but I can send you a few on Portuguese, or the traditional Spanish Gazpacho or a vichyssoise! What if I send you a few via message on facebook then when you choose which one I will also send you photo. Will that work?

Well, shame on me, too - but I think I got hung up on the 'romantic' end of it. I'm not sure I have any recipes that fit that niche!

Of course you do Annie. Look, put on your apron and a dash of parfum and bat your eyelashes at Marty. He'll eat anything you prepare after that!

No worries Annie. I too have that problem as Kevin (my DH) is not much of romantic food. He likes hearty meals and won't eat desserts! hmm.. is that why he is so thin?

My nerd - I mean, hubby - is thin, too. Annoying! All that man eats is chocolate, Doritos and pizza. Irks me to no end. A complete waste of my culinary diploma!!!

Mine is barely romantic. He is more like my best-friend-brother-father-husband. Logically minded.

A romantic food recipe. Hmm. I don't know if I know any.

Are dates wrapped in bacon and drizzled with maple syrup romantic or merely insanely delicious...

The company makes the meal romantic. You can work your "you know what off" and if the person does not appreciate it, you will be left with a lot of leftovers and a broken heart. So my dear fellow foodies, remember the most simple meal can be romantic if the person you are sharing it with is hot, fun and responsive and, of course, has a pulse. So, before you work your, "you know what off", share some sandwiches and a cup of coffee and see if you both leave with a big smile and a nice feeling inside. If you do not leave with a good feeling you just saved yourself alot of money and work. Just my opinion.
