Let's get together here tonight EST around 7PM to catch up and talk about things in general. Friends, family, food, the world and what you will be preparing for tomorrow night's OSCAR event.

Which movies (2010) did you like and who do you pick to win one of those statues?

A pre-Oscar night talk! See you then.

      I saw:

Black Swan, Inception, The Social Network and The King's Speech.

      I wanted to see:

The Kids Are All Right and the Fighter.

      Had no wish to see:

True Grit and Toy Story 3.

      Wasn't brave enough to see:

      127 Hours and Winter's Bone.

I am rooting for inception and black swan...though I did not see black swan I love Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis. I've seen the trailer like a hundred times!

I did see Inception though, and I must say...it was BRILLIANT!

I liked Inception but for some reason I felt it was too long. I'll have to watch it again when it is released on DVD. I really loved the concept though.

Black Swan was pretty adult but acted and directed by mastermind talents. I really liked this movie!

My wife's parents lived on the top of a hill and at the bottom of the hill was a blueberry farm. I'll bet you can't guess what they called the farm... Blueberry Hill. I am sure Chubby Checker would appreciate that. We never seemed to be able to visit without coming home with blueberries. Blueberry pancakes were a staple when the lids were young, cheap meal.

I'll tell you my secret then. Hungry Jack Buttermilk Pancake Mix. Just add water (you might need to adjust the amount to a bit more), blueberries and butter. I also use Mrs. Butterworth's Syrup.

Semi home-made. I also love Betty Cocker and Dunkin Hines Brownies. I mean ... if the recipe is perfect then why make them from scratch? Mostly, I do everything from scratch. these are my two weaknesses.
