I created the title as a general question in case others in the future want to add, ask questions.

I am looking to buy a new food processor (will be my Mother's day/birthday present!). My old one bit the dust! I need something powerful and that has various attachments so that I do not need different appliances for each different process.

Cuisineart or KitchenAid. My preference is the second one. Happy Mother's Day early.
