Thanks for this Tony! Both my grandsons were preemies @ 28 and 29 weeks respectively. We were lucky to have decent health insurance and access to a wonderful step-2 neonatal intensive care unit close to home and both boys had no complications. Today they are healthy and thriving. This experience is what influenced my daughter to become a neonatal intensive care nurse, which is what she is doing today. She sees babies and parents every day that are not as fortunate as she was and her stories break my heart. Anyone who cares about children should take up the fight for preemies whose parents can not afford the care my grandchildren were fortunate enough to receive.

This is such a worthy cause. We give to The March of Dimes every year. Every penny they receive helps those tiny lives that are touched. The videos I have watched over the past few days is bittersweet, touching and rewarding.

Tweeted! Oddly enough, with 7 children I have no personal experience with premature babies. I do, however, have several friends who have had babies early and am very aware of the devastation it can cause.

Chefs are pretty good people. I find they seem to get involved pretty quickly for good causes. Everyone needs nourishment.
