What did you get cooking related for Christmas

So far I got a pasta maker with the blades for linguine and spaghtti, a pressure cooker, a bread stone and bamboo cutting board. I also got some vanilla beans from madagascar and tahitan.

What did you get for Christmas

I got a pyrex 21 piece set with lids. It is just what I wanted. How nice was that of Santa! Have a very Merry Christmas and a Blessed New year.

A new apron, a set of 3 calderos (aluminum cooking pots - www.amazon.com/IMUSA-Caldero-3-2dpc-2e-Cookware-Set/dp/B001AS12XK ) and the Julie and Julia CD Actually - that was everything and it was ALL cooking related!

So far, (he won't let me open the gifts until tomorrow, when we do another Christmas here at our condo,) but Santa Joe and the kitties have given me a Chinese wire mesh ladle, with a bamboo handle. I have always wanted one and although the rest are wrapped, I think I might see a handle of a skillet. We'll see tomorrow.

Yesterday, I got Disney Mickey and Mini Mouse coffee mugs from our niece, Marcia. I will take photos and use them on Monday! We travelled so much we felt like we had driven to NYC. We are exhausted but today we are meeting more family at Red Lobster to share a seafood Christmas dinner.

A new microwave, a cover for my KitchenAid mixer, the Julie and Julia movie, and 6 cookbooks! My family knows me well and they know they can never go wrong with cooking-related stuff. Oh...I also got a box of Swedish Pearl sugar...it's for finishing baked goods I think....Theresa?

  I got a cast iron skillet, a cool rolling pin, spice rack (it's gigantic!), Julie and Julia movie (I watched it today and teared up at the end ... again) hand mixer, Mr. Coffee maker, Chinese mesh strainer. I usually don't get this much and I am soaking it up. Next year I'll be back to a few things. Thanks Santa! I am grateful.

Lol Anne....thanks for clarifying you identity! I will have to find something to make with this. My dad got me CIA's baking book, so maybe I will find something there.
