Most of the food lovers and cooks and chefs I know are always busy taking care of their families or patrons. During this Holiday Season of food, shopping, rushing here and there, and wrapping of presents, tell me what you want Santa to bring YOU this Holiday Season.
Close your eyes and dream (just as you might have done as a child) and think very hard about that one gift you'd like to see when the gifts are opened. Remember that sometimes imagining something nice is just as fun as receiving it. Who knows ... maybe a miracle gift will appear for some of you. Believe.

I would dearly love to receive an Artisan Kitchen Aide Mixer. The one I have is 20 years old and is beginning to sound a bit cranky.

I want a new stove. My oven works good some times but the other day it cooked cookies in 5 minuets. Scaryand I replaced all the parts they told me to. So I am wanting a new one. -

Santa let me down, well actually the Christmas shipping rush delayed my floor and knobs. They both should have been here today but the knobs didn't show and the flooring delivery was cancelled because of the blizzard. But I did get 5 new cookbooks, some new wooden spoons and an awesome camera bag.

I got a belgium flip waffel maker, kitchen gadgets, and a great big digital crock pot with a timer on it. -
A pasta roller! (and pasta cookbooks)
I think I've just gotten a hint about what my wife would like for dinner! -
OK, I kind of hate to say this, but I made my first batch of pasta tonight...
Oh. My. Gawd. (or as my wife said, "I thought only truffles could make me feel this way).
I braised a lamb shank, then stuffed some ravioli with the meat & veggies and used the braising liquid to make a sauce.
WOW. I may never buy pasta again. -
Santa brought me new thick kitchen towels. Don't'cha know I always am washing my hands, too. He brought me a brownie pan (I've long wanted) whereby, there is an edge for everyone. The brownies come right out and there is no sticking. He also brought me U.S. postage stamps with photos of my new Grand Niece. She is so cute! A wonderful meal with the family and extended family and our kitty, Tiffany, back home after two years away! I am blessed! Truly blessed.
