Oh my, I never thought I would see such a variety of foods that everyone does not like. I cannot think of a food that I hate. Of course I am not talking about the "far out", "food" that you see on the Animal Planet or Anthony Bourdain show - like insects or the likes of that.

lemongrass..... although I love spices and herbs, i just dont like lemongrass... they taste like flower, too strong for my palate.

I do not like the flavor of cilantro. It tastes a bit like soap. (When I was small, I washed my own mouth out with soap and it was something I have never repeated.

Thank God I see I am not the only one who hates sweet potatoes ... I usually would eat anything when I am a guest somewhere... you know... "good manners" sometimes I eat stuff I do not like... and I usually never say what type of things I do not like because I do not want to be offensive with people who enjoy it... but sweet potatoes make me forget about good manners and I can't even touch them...

Theresa: You have never tried a mango? It seems they aren't as popular in the USA as they are in Mexico... it's my favorite fruit and we, Mexicans, use it for many different things, you have to try it, but make sure someone who knows about mangoes chooses a good one for you because if you try one that is too ripe or not ready you will think it is horrible... it has to be perfect...

I want a mango!

raw fish, rare meat, raw seafood, sushi, liver, animal organs, tough steak, hummus, escargot, caviar, egg nog, cottage cheese, ricotta cheese (unless cooked), black licorice, gummy bears, fruits that aren't seedless

I would have to say Anise. My boyfriend's family makes a cookie called pfeffernusse or pepper nuts. They eat them like candy and tell me the taste will grow on me. It has been three years and it has not happened for me yet.....

Lol! Cherry pie was a most unexpected answer! I am also in the group who will not eat offal....gross!
I am not crazy about fish but will eat salmon and tuna (mostly because I know they are good for me). Other than that, I will eat pretty much anything.

I eat deer now but I use to not even consider it. I told people that served it they needed to go to the grocery store. I will not eat squirrle. Hubby and daughter does but they can be strange lol. I have never had foie geas but that is in the offal group (haha learned a new word and it is fitting) I love okra. I make a tomatoe and okra soup and hubby wont eat it because it is slimy but he will eat fried okra all day long. Sushi I love but cant find it here. Frog legs but that is because frogs are just nasty.

Sweet potatoes, although I did eat a half of one, once. Pineapple because I am allergic & octopus. Okra, cold pasta salads with gobs of dressing, hot chili peppers and sauces. But I do not hate these foods I cannot tolerate them. I will not eat foie gras, calf or veal, shark, dolphin, bison, elk, deer, squirrel, rabbit, frogs, Really, I wish I hadn't been raised eating meat. It's all their fault she says pointing at her ancestors. Sushi, gee, I thought I was open-minded. :(

We all have a crtain food that we will not touch with a ten foot pole. What is yours?

Mine is offal- any type of organ meat- this is because I am an EMT and know what they are.I watched the Iron chef America battle on offal and about gagged.

My hubby is most everything it would be shorter to list what he eats.

My kids will eat anything put in front of them. My mother in law loves for them to come over she plays kitchen clean out.
