Imagine someone heading over for dinner in 30 minutes - and you had nothing planned - what's your plan?

There is no plan! Haha - I wanted to say, 'What's your idea?' -
I would make Shrimp Scampi. using lots of butter, garlic, olive oil, some salt and pepper and a little fresh parsley. I would put a big block of parmesan cheese and a nice grater on the table on a pretty plate and let everyone add their own grated cheese on top. I would also throw together a simple salad of mixed greens with a very easy French vinaigrette. Hopefully I would have some good ice cream in the freezer and I would pour hot coffee over it for a quick affagato dessert. and of course some chilled white wine. It really would only take 30 minutes its so quick and easy!! -
I just posted a quick 10 minute meal that will delight your guests ( a pasta dish with lobster, truffle butter and cognac ) -
I'll pretend it's my sister ... she eats anything I cook.
Lump crab & large shrimp sauteed in garlic butter. Sauteed mushrooms in a creamy sauce to go over the boiled potato wedges, topped w/ chives salt & pepper. Sliced beefsteak tomatoes and steamed green beans with butter, onion and crispy bacon bits. Baguette and brie cheese. Milk.
No dessert because we would be going to the movies and can get a chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich and a coke!

I would start by quickly boiling some shrimp in water, sea salt and a few chillie peppers, meanwhile I would cut some cheese, good Italian salami, prosciutto, deer salami, make a tomato and fresh mozzarella salad sprinkling salt, pepper, oreganos, olive oil and vinegar, cut cucumber slices put cream cheese and smoked salmon, then open a nice bottle of wine and enjoy! While people are eating I would quickly pour onto the blender 2 avocados with one can of sweet condensed milk, a few drops of lemon juice and blend it all until nicely smooth, pour it in a nice glass bowl and freeze it until everyone is ready to have desert. Just simple finger food! -
I would just cook some lovely wholegrain pasta, usually spaghetti, then stir in a fresh chopped chilli and some pesto, then grate some lovely fresh parmesan cheese over the top, and serve with some homemade garlic bread and a lovely crisp white wine, yum :), one of my favorites and so simple. -
ORZO is my new go-to food and you are the one who told me about it with your delicious orzo with lemon. I have invented a few different dishes and it is so much fun to eat, too.
