We just had our long time friends over last night. We realized we hadn't sat down to eat in about a year! Now it is something we have decided to do at least once a month.

They wanted my fresh bread, salad and spaghetti with sauce. And we surprised them a triple chocolate cream pie, that we made together.

How often do you cook for your friends? What are some of your favorite recipes they ask you to prepare?

Everything sounds real good Theresa. That is a goal to stive for. Even if you do not stick to the goal completely, at least you will make an effort to try. Time slips by so quickly.

are there any leftovers of that triple chocolate cream pie? If so mind bringing some over? lol... am drooling here.

We try every 15 days to have some friends over. The typical request usually are the spicy wings and the bacon wrapped stuffed jalapenos with crab meat and blue cheese.

The best part of the warm weather arriving is that I already know people will just show up uninvited and we come up with last minute meals and those always seem to work out so very well

In this instance, cook ahead and freeze a bunch of food. Stay prepared.

It's been almost a year. I went to visit in friend in St. Louis and made turkey meatloaf, garlic mashed potatoes and mac-cheese. I used to love to cook for friends and hope to get a chance to entertain more often.
