Yes I watch this channel 164 cable a lot.

Iron Chef America, Mario, Giada, Ina, Culinary School Shows, Chef Documentaries, Throw Down, Competitions, Chopped, Ace of Cakes and of course ... Hell's Kitchen. There are many others that I watch when I am in the mood.

Oh yes. These competitions are soooooo cool. The pastry field is awesome. Every day there are new products to get the job done or to expand in sugar and chocolate design. This is fascinating for me.

I would love to be an assistant one day.

I do watch, but not religiously. I watched The Next Iron Chef competition - I loved it and I was rooting for Michael Symon the whole way, so I was very satisfied.

I watch the Challenges and Ace of Cakes - Chopped occasionally.

Yep...my husband had cable installed in the kitchen so I can watch my cooking shows while I am cooking. I like Ina Garten, Mario Batali, Iron Chef, Top Chef, Next Food Network Star, Chopped, and Ace of Cakes. I also like Rick Bayless's "Mexico One Plate at a Time", Lidia Bastianich's "Lydia's Italy", and America's Test Kitchen on PBS.

I like those shows and my television has been in the kitchen for years. If I am going to do the work, I must have my entertainment.

My absolute favorite is Hell's Kitchen. I would love to get into a private kitchen and do a one-on-one with Chef Ramsey

Has anyone watched "The Best Thing I Ever Ate"? That is my new favorite. I even bookmark places online so that if/when I go to that city, I can remember to try what some of the food network star's favorite items are!

Oh, yes. I like this show, too. Some of their favorites are strange.

I do watch some occasionally. I do like Hell's Kitchen a lot, but my favourite is from the travel channel called Bizarre Foods. I would love to have his job. Apart from all the different places he visits and the people he meets, the chance at trying oddities that most westerners would not eat fascinated me!

That is what is neat about all the choices we have, because we will never all select the same choices. It makes the world go round.

I got roped in ... suckered in, more like it, and watched the worse cook boot camp, from 5:45PM to 11PM, and I was surprised by the winner. It is a very good show. It is like an unprofessional mirror of Hell's Kitchen, but not so crazy. There are tears and huge challenges to these novice of want-to-be-cooks. I think that was Monday. I did learn a lot from the show and will watch it when next it airs, for its second season. It was mesmerizing to be truthful.

That was a fun show. I was surprised that the winners could cook what they ultimately did, given where they started.

I knew the ones who applied themselves would catch on. It isn't rocket science. It's a grasp or feel of the sounds and smells, plus timing is everything.

Has anyone ever watched Avec Eric on - NJN - it is a New Jersey network, but you can catch it online at AvecEric.org.. I think you all will be pleasantly surprised. He is very good. Sometimes I feel that the Food Network has become the "Contest Network", unless you watch it in the morning and who has time for that? Well, anyway give Avec Eric a try.
