What do you intend to prepare for your weekend get-together?

Who likes picnics on the beach or in a tree-lined park? Do you and or your family and friends participate in sports and games?

Do you go to the beach and which do you like the most? Do you stay home and grill, have a party or go out to dine and dance?

Whatever it is you have planned please share it with all of us.

So far I plan on having my brother over. I am not sure what I am having yet since today has been a series of "murphy's law"! Are you familiar with the Amelia Bedelia story books for children, well today I feel like her! I will post back later and tell you what came together for the food.

Poor you! Everything will improve, just wait and see. Is he your big brother or your little brother?

Had to lie low yesterday because I ate something that disagreed with my system. But today is brighter and it is hot out. We will probably take an evening ride through the famus Rock Creek Park, and tomorrow we'll be visiting the relatives for the cookouts. I only have to eat. Nice change.

Theresa, plans changed since I had a leak through the kitchen ceiling! (not fixed yet). We went to my neice's house fot a cook - out. Was very nice, I brought chicken salad and egg salad, blueberry pie and donut holes. How easy was that! It was a nice day. I got to see both of my brothers. They are both older than me. I hope that you are feeling better. Big Hug, Catherine

This sounds like you have a relaxing visit. I am sorry for the leak in the kitchen. What is causing it? Do you know?

Yes, the drain in the bath tub upstairs. The plumber came yesterday and fixed it. He had to cut the cieling in the kitchen. He is coming back today to finish fixing the cieling. I did have a nice time, but the visit was not long enough. Time goes so quickly.

Thank you Theresa. Tomorrow the "fix-it man" is coming to fix the washing machine. It refuses to empty! He is a very nice person. He fixed my stove at Christmas time. What a nice present. I know I am blessed that these are such little inconveniences in the scope of life.

Wow Sofia, you will be so busy. Which ones do you put together first and do any of them get frozen? Or, are you listing and gathering all of the ingredients so far?

Theresa, the cod fish fritters are done and in the freezer, the shrimp puffs will also be going to the freezer. the Maria cookie cake same, as well as the gizzards. Those are the most time consuming ones.
