This dish is a combination of the french crepe and the apple filling of apple pies. The lime juice in this recipe gives a citric flavor to the apples and makes this dessert simply delicious!
1/2 cup milk
1 egg
6 tbsp flour
1tbsp Sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 apple
1 lime
1/2 cup water
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tbsp corn starch
3 tbsp water ( to dilute the corn starch)
Wash and peel the apple.
Cut in cubes and soak in lime juice.
In a sauce pan place the sugar and the water and let it coock for 10 minutes.
After add the apple and cinnamon, let it coock for more 5 minutes. Add the corn starch diluted in the 3 tbsp of water and stir for 5 minutes more, and it is ready.
Now lets make the crepes!
Whisk in a bowl the egg, vanilla and sugar.
After add the flour and the milk, mixing until you get a smooth batter.
On median heat, preheat a nonstick pan with some butter and add enough batter to cover the bottom with circular moves.
Let it brown both sides.
Fill the crepes with the apple filling, fold it in half and half again, forming a triangle.
Serve with vanilla ice cream.
