Artichoke Fettuccini
Description
Use your creativity to change the recipe to suit your family. Add shrimp or chicken, black olives, or exclude the artichokes.

6 T butter
2 c. whipping cream
8 oz. can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
1/8 t. nutmeg
1/4 c. grated Romano cheese
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg yolk, beaten
1 lb. pkg. fettucini, cooked
Preparation
Melt butter in a medium saucepan; add whipping cream, artichoke hearts, nutmeg and cheeses. Stir constantly over medium heat until cheeses melt. Add egg yolk; continue cooking for another 3 to 5 minutes. Pour cooked fettucini into a serving bowl; add cream mixture. Stir well and serve immediately. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
