Bacon Wrapped Jumbo Chicken Franks

We love bacon and grilled hot dogs of all kinds, but this time we stumbled across Gwaltney's Jumbo Chicken Franks in the store and decided they would look much better with individual bacon sweaters.

1 pack Jumbo chicken franks (or other jumb hot dog)
1 pack Thick sliced bacon
1 pack Hot dog buns
Preparation
This is an easy one: Wrap each jumbo hot dog in its own slice of bacon. You can even go crazy and wrap some of the hot dogs in TWO slices of bacon if you're feeling naughty. Grill the hot dogs as normal, but not over too much direct flame. Cook time will vary with grill conditions but we have found that 10 minutes in average heat usually gets most of the bacon wrapped jumbo chicken franks cooked and ready to eat.

These tasty little dogs are great with cheese stuffed inside too. Suggest the cut stuffed side is grilled first for half the time as the rest of dog so the cheese doesn't ooze out.

Ever try it wrapped around corn on the cob? Makes for some excellent corn and it's a nice presentation, pull the husk down take off the hair then wrap the corn with bacon pull the husk back up and grill it, nice and Moist (or greasy as my wife calls it)

Made these for a BQQ I was hosting. If you cut then into smaller pieces and secure the bacon with toothpicks they work great. Enjoyed by young and old!
