Baker's cookies from Bologna (Italy)
Description
These are the traditional cookies that you can find in every bakery in Bologna (Northern Italy). They re simple and tasty and you can keep long in tin cans, jars or sealed nylon bags.

1 kg wheat flour
400 gr Sugar
35 gr yeast for cakes and cookies
5 eggs
200 gr butter
Preparation
Making the fountain with the flour, put in the middle sugar, eggs and butter at room temperature.
Add the yeast on flour and mix to start from the center out to obtain a homogeneous mixture.
Spread the dough high 1 / 2 cm, remove the biscuits with shapes or simply using the wheel tagliapasta.
A pleasure you can add few milk on the top and decorate with grain sugar, cinnamon, coconut and so on.
Bake in preheated oven to 180/190°C for about 15/20 minutes (until golden).
Cold them and preserve them into cookie tin box.
