I got this recipe from one of my sorority sisters about five years ago, and since then it has become a favorite of my friends and family. In fact, one of my friends texted me the other day to get the recipe so she could make it for her family reunion. It is always a hit. With only four ingredients, this cheeseball doesn't require much time or effort. But, it definitely isn't short on taste!
2 (8 oz) packages of cream cheese
1 bundle of green onions (only use the green part)
1 Tbs. of Worcestershire sauce
1 jar of REAL bacon bits
Leave the cream cheese out of the fridge for a little while to let it soften. Once the cream cheese has softened, place it in a medium sized bowl and add finely chopped green onions, worcestershire sauce, and bacon bits. Mix with hands and shape into ball. Cover with plastic wrap and place in refridgerator overnight. Remember to take it out of the fridge about thirty minutes before serving.
*Goes great with wheat thins. Enjoy!
