Brenda's Favorite French Bread
Description
A delicious and light french style bread that goes great with everything. I just kept guessing with the ingredients until I got it how I liked it. I am sure you will enjoy it too.

3 Cups unbleached bread flour
1 1/2 tsp. Kosher Salt
3 tsp. Instant Active or Rapid Rise Yeast
1 + Cups warm water
Preparation
Place flour, salt and yeast in large mixing bowl.
Using a sturdy wooden spoon, stir to mix, add 1 cup warm water and stir well. Add more water as needed, to make a stiff but sticky dough.
Dump out on floured surface and knead till elastic.
Oil a large glass bowl and place dough in bowl, turning to coat all sides of dough.
Cover with plastic and put in warm place till dough rises double in size.
Pour out on floured surface. Punch down and knead till elastic.
Cut in half and shape each piece to desired shape, or roll and place in french loaf pan.
Cover with cloth and let rise till double. Bake in preheated 350ยบ oven till golden brown. Loaf will sound hollow when thumped.
Remove and let cool. Cut and serve.
