Mom's Broccoli San Vincenty

My favorite memory of the holidays growing up is my mom cooking dinner and making her tasty broccoli dish. My brothers and sisters always enjoyed this dish.

add to shopping list Ingredients

1 lb. Fresh Broccoli florets
2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 pint Sour Cream
2 Tbsps. Lemon Juice
1-10 oz. bag Slivered Almonds

Preparation

Steam broccoli florets in water for 5 mins. until broccoli is tender.
Place broccoli in a baking dish. Sprinkle shredded cheddar chees on top of the broccoli. bake for 10 mins.at 325 degrees. take out of oven and set.
Mix sour cream with the lemon juice. Spoon sour cream mixture over the broccoli. Sprinkle the almonds on top.
Broil the dish for approximately 2 mins.
or slightly brown on top.
