Butter & Basil Rice

A simple side dish but with great flavor.

1 cup brown rice
2 chicken bouillon cubes
2 cups water
1/4 cup butter or margarine (works best with butter)
dash pepper to taste
1 tsp basil
Preparation
Boil rice in 2 cups water with the bouillon cubes until tender, you may need to add more water if the rice is not tender. When all but a very small amount of water is gone from the rice (less then about a tablespoon or so), add butter and melt, stirring to make sure rice does not stick to pan. Remove from heat and stir in pepper and Basil.
