Holiday Cheesecake Squares
Description
This is a favorite holiday treat I received from my husband a few years ago. It's a simple recipe and can be decorated in different ways! My favorite thing to do is use crushed lifesaver candy and make a stained glass effect.

1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
3 Tbsps sugar
3-8oz. packages cream cheese
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
Preparation
Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 3 Tbsps. sugar.
Press onto the bottom of a 13 by 9 in. baking pan.
Mix the cream cheese, 3/4 cup sugar, and vanilla with electric mixer on medium speed.
Add eggs and mix well.
Pour over graham cracker crust.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 mins. or until center is set. Cool. Refrigerate 3 hours.
Cut into bars.(1in. by 1in.)
Decorate bars with icing to look like gifts. you can use crushed peppermint candies, colored sprinkes, decorating sugar, or drizzle with chocolate sauce.
