Chicken Casserole faster than you can say cocka doodle doo
Description
I created this dish 15 years ago after having my first child. I can assemble it in about 20 minutes, I usually have some pre-cooked brown rice on hand. This feeds my entire family of 5 very quickly. It is easy, delicious and healthy. I hope your family enjoys it as much as we do.
add to shopping list Ingredients
4-6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 can Cambells golden mushroom soup
1 can Whole Milk
1 box frozen spinach thawed and drained, feel free to use fresh spinach
4-6 servings cooked brown rice
1-2 cups variety of grated cheeses. Swiss, chedder, parmesean. I love cheese and use a good 2 cups.
salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste
Preparation
1. place rice on bottom of a casserole pan
2. top with chicken breasts, seasoned with salt and pepper
3. layer spinach over top of chicken, season with a little more salt and pepper and garlic powder.
4. combine milk and soup and pour over top of spinach
5. top with grated cheeses
Bake in a pre-heated oven at 375 for approximately 45-60 minutes. Until bubbly and golden brown.
