Submitted by:

Description

These are extremely easy to make but your kids will love them! Crunchy tortillas are covered in cinnamon and sugar to make this simple dessert or snack. You can even drizzle some honey or chocolate syrup on top. Let the kids be creative and have fun with this quick recipe.

add to shopping list Ingredients

Flour tortillas
½ cup sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
Vegetable oil for frying

Preparation

Have the kids cut the tortillas into 6-8 wedge shapes, depending on the size of the tortilla. In a large deep pot, heat your oil on medium/high. Carefully drop the wedges into the oil and allow to cook on one side for just a minute, until golden brown. Flip over and allow to cook on the other side as well. Remove from the oil and place on paper towels to drain. Have the kids mix the sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Now they can sprinkle the mixture on top of the chips. Let cool for a minute and then serve. Yum!
