Clam Sauce
Description
Sweet clams in a rich sauce to serve over fettucini or linguini.

3 dz fresh clams, scrubbed clean
1/2 stick butter
2 tsp garlic
1/4 cup Olive Oil
1 cup white wine
2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
Preparation
Melt butter with oil in large pot.
Add garlic saute 2 minutes.
Add wine and clams.
Cover pot and cook until clams open, stirring occasionally.
Add parsley.
Spice it up with red pepper flakes.
Pour over a pound of pasta.
