Craisin/Raisin Twists

Submitted by:

Description

Add a few Plumped Raisins &/or Craisins to Pillsbury Cinnamon Twists before baking and a package of ordinary sweet rolls will taste great!

Preparation

Prepare & Bake the sweet rolls (found in the Dairy Case) following the directions on the package with two additions.

1. Add about 8 Plumped Raisins/Craisins in middle. Pinch ends and twist.
2. Bake 15 – 16 Minutes or until golden brown.

To Prepare Plumped Craisins & Raisins –
Place about ΒΌ cup dried fruit in 1 Cup Ziploc container. Add Apple Juice to cover dried fruit. Cover and refrigerate for 1 – 2 days. Use within 2 weeks.

Plumped fruit can be added easily to foods when baking. Great addition while making hot Oatmeal Cereal on cold mornings. A container of each is always found in my refrigerator.

My family really likes these!!! They're always a two thumbs up!!!

Plain dried Raisins and/or Craisins do not taste as good. Using the "Plumped" dried fruit gives extra moistness and adds the taste of the juice. Sometimes I use Cranberry Juice.

These iced goodies can also be placed in a Freezer Ziploc Bag and stored flat in the freezer. Make early and take out as needed. Yummy!!!
