Curry Roasted Chicken

Submitted by:

Description

Growing up my mother would often use curry in her recipes. This is an easy version of one her recipes.

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Place already roasted chicken in pan. Mix above ingredients and pour over chicken. Baste occasionally. Cook chicken for about 15 minutes.
Carve into pieces and serve with rice.

If you want to roast your own chicken, pour sauce over chicken and cook for about 90 minutes. Basting occasionally.

Wow this sounds divine! I never heard of currying a whole chicken, it's a great idea. And the tang offered by the ketchup offers an interesting flavor combo with the Indian spice mix.
Will try it soon.

Let me know if you like it. My kids even eat but I don't use a very spicy curry.

This sounds really good, I'm going to get a couple of bags of chicken breasts and try it for Monday Night for the Master at Church. Thanks. Will let you know how it turns out.
