Diabetic Chocolate Chip Cookies
Description
Many people in my family are diabetic, so when my family made a cookbook a few years ago, there were a lot of dessert recipes that were sugar free. These chocolate chip cookies are so good you would never know they don't have any sugar in them. You can try these even if you aren't diabetic, but just want to watch your sugar intake (which let's face it...we all should). I promise you can't tell the difference!

1 cup flour
¼ teaspoon salt
4 teaspoons liquid Sweet 10
1 egg, beaten
½ teaspoon soda
½ cup butter
½ teaspoon vanilla
½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
Mix dry ingredients. In another bowl, cream sugar and Sweet 10, vanilla and egg. Slowly mix in dry ingredients and stir until fully combined. Stir in chocolate chips. Grease a baking sheet and preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Drop small amounts of cookie dough onto the sheet about 1 inch apart. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Yum!

Thanks... My little nephew is diabetic (4 years old) ... I am so glad to see a cookie recipe.
Can another sweetner be used as a substitute for Sweet 10? I'm not familiar with it. Could Splenda be used if so how much? Tks!
These sound delightful, and I'll take your word for it that they are just as good as regular chocolate chip cookies.
They look wonderful too.
