A wonderfully chocolate-y pick me up.
Ground espresso
1/2 C Milk (or soy milk)
1 TBSP Giardelli Double Chocolate Cocoa Mix
1 C water
1. Fill espresso machine's strainer with ground espresso and add the water to the machine's well. Turn machine's know to brew.
2. While waiting for espresso to brew, put the cocoa mix in the bottom of your mug and mix it with a splash of milk.
3. Once you have brewed a 1/2 cup of espresso, turn the machine off and pour the espresso into your mug. Mix it with the cocoa until evenly blended.
4. In a glass measuring cup or another mug, use the espresso machines frother to steam and froth the 1/2 cup of milk until it doubles in size.
5. Using a spoon to strain it, pour the steamed milk into your espresso while holding back the froth.
6. As the last of the milk pours out, let the froth pour out on top.
7. Use the chocolate syrup and lightly drizzle your desired pattern on top of the froth.
8. Enjoy.
