Fantasy Fudge

Submitted by:

Description

Our entire family, and everyone else who has ever had this fudge, thinks it is to die for. I believe this recipe was originally from the back of a marshmallow creme jar and my Mom altered it a little. She makes this fudge every Christmas and boxes it up as gifts. It is so good that some people trade their gifts to get more fudge! Make it today and you will see why.

add to shopping list Ingredients

3 cups sugar
2/3 cup evaporated milk
2/3 cup light cream
¾ cup butter
2- 6 oz. packages of semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 jar of marshmallow crème
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts (pecans, walnuts, etc.)

Preparation

Mix the first four ingredients in a sauce pan. Bring to boil and continue boiling for 5 minutes over medium heat. Stir often. Add chocolate chips, marshmallow crème, vanilla, and nuts. Pour into a buttered 13 x 9 pan, and allow to cool. Cut into squares and serve!

Sounds like a Saturday project for the children. So Moms and Dads try this fantasy fudge with your kids. It'll be as fun as making smores.
