2 steaks (ribeye, new york strip)
2 large russett baking potatoes
1 bagged salad mix (I prefer romaine)
1 bag croutons
salad dressing of your choice
cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion (optional)
1 can crescent rolls
Preparation
Marinate steak for 30 minutes in Dale's seasoning (prick steak with fork prior to marinating)
Sear steak in hot skillet with butter. (Get butter hot first; add cold steak to hot butter for the perfect sear)
Once the steak has seared to a golden brown on both sides, place steak in a PREHEATED OVEN SET TO BROIL. Broil steak to your preferred doneness. (Medium takes about 3 minutes)
Wash potatoes, pierce with fork and place in microwave for about 5 minutes till tender. Serve with butter & sour cream.
Add bagged salad! The salad can include veggies of your choice. My salad usually has cherry tomatoes & croutons with dressing. You may add cucumber, sliced red onion, etc.
If you must have bread, you can use the canned crescent rolls. This is an ultra fast dinner which makes use of convenience foods! Enjoy!

Sounds like a real winner and a great go-to meal that I myself have made upon many occasions.
Thank you so much for sharing this!! I recently seperated from my "chef" husband and never cooked a day in my life, (other than pizza hut or mcdonalds:>) This was SO easy and it was the best steak I have ever had in my life!! It just melted in our mouths. My kids thank you too!!
