My family loves French dressing. The tangy taste goes great with salads or meats, and is healthier than cream based dressings. This homemade dressing recipe comes from my Great Grandma, Lucille. You can prepare this recipe in just 20 minutes and store what you don't use. I hope you like it as much as my family does.
3 cans tomato soup
3 cups sugar
1 ½ cup vinegar
2 1/3 cup oil
3 teaspoons salt
1 ½ teaspoon garlic powder
1 large onion, grated
In a large mixing bowl, add all ingredients. With a hand mixer, blend for about 15 minutes. Refrigerate in an airtight container with lid, for a few hours. Ready to serve!
